Ugh, he's got such an aesthetically pleasing face. He is legit really handsome and so overlooked. And his sense of humour! I think that the Canucks get a bad rap for being sensitive/bitchy but they've just collectively got really dry or sassy senses of humour. It can't be dick jokes all the time, okay.

I'm really stoked that you got to meet him. There are so many NHLers who are totally my heroes and I've seen a few out and about but I am too awkward about them to say anything. I worry that I'll tell them I write porn about them or something. "Hi Kes! I'm working on a novel in which you are a werewolf hooker! Nice to meet you!!"

He does! It's almost intimidating... when he wasn't smiling I was worrying that he wasn't happy, and then when he smiled it was like rainbows exploded behind my eyes. And I think our team has a very "Vancouver" like sense of humour. It's very sarcastic and low key. They don't goof around outright and that makes what they say even funnier, I think.

LOL good lord I couldn't even imagine. "Oh hey Sami, I've drawn you a lot. I think you should hang out with Bieksa more because I need inspiration" XD

And woo more Sami facts and pic-spam from no other than the biggest Sami Salo fan ever! ;) I'm oddly fascinated by that photo of Sami all snuggled up in the black jacket there...

I only had to wait an hour! In fact, my sister and I actually got there earlier but I didn't want to be first in line so we went into a London Drugs and I bought candy :3

All of Europe is hiding some massive archive of amazing Sami pictures from me. He takes all his model-esque photos there. What do Finnish trees have that our don't?

Also I love that old Ottawa Sens logo. Imo that profile design is so much cleaner and more arresting with the centurion's crest making a bigger swoop around the inner circle... so much better than the blah one the have now with the guy in 3/4 view... And I hate the Sens new third jersey, I can't help but think of the Opera web browser every time I look at it...

Oh I agree! You really notice it when you're trying to photoshop the watermarks out of photos haha. The profile view is faaaarrr more attractive, design-wise. But OH WOW, I had to google their third jersey and it made me very sad. So lackluster and... just not... anything...
