Debate

Sep 30, 2004 20:57

So I watched the presidential debate tonight. did you? if you did, good job! way to be involved. If you didn't, just know they both suck, but Bush is worse by far. From what he said tonight, it seems like he's trying to start ANOTHER war if he doesn't get what he wants. basically, he wants more oil, and so he's going after countries that have it. awww *blush* mature? wow hehe. nope, I am a lowly 17 year old. 18 in May :) so, unfortunately, I will have to wait another 4 years to vote. Hopefully Bush won't be re-elected :/

and I just noticed how you're being bombarded with bush/anti-kerry/republican supporters (whichever they may be). damn you, politics!

I have never been a fan of the Bush family or any rep. Its their screw the poor attuide that I loathe. I bet they never had to watch a family die b/c they could not afford medicine to keep them alive? Or have they known someone who lost their job b/c it was moved over seas and ended up looseing there house???? Reasons like that is why I will never vote rep.

"If Bush gets elected again, we could very well be dead this time around."

Tell me, if you are so knowledgable about Bush killing us all off... how will he? I am curious.

bush "flipflops" just as much. everyone with an open mind does. it's part of being human. if you're not a close-minded asshole you're willing to read up on things and rethink your old opinions. i've spent a big part of today looking over everything that was said by both candidates, both at the debate and in their campaigns previously. and i feel you're right, it isn't entirely about oil. my first comment was a mistake. i am only human after all, and this isn't a news journal, it's an opinion journal. you wouldn't be having these problems if i changed my mind about a band or something. it's just an excuse used by people with nothing solid to stand on.

have a good day.

My opinion:

Bush= bad
Kerry= worse

At least with Bush we know what we're getting.
Kerry can't make up his mind from day to day on where he stands. I'd rather have someone with a good idea of what they're about to do than someone who's, for all practical purposes, bipolar in thought.

And I wonder if anyone also noticed that Kerry has not provided a plan yet? He keeps talking about ending the war and such, but he has failed as of yet to provide us with a plan. It's been almost a year, folks.. I think he should have his show on the road by now.

But then again, my opinion doesn't matter for a few years yet.

meh, i think it's good to have someone who isn't so set in his ways. i think kerry actually is honest with the american people, he just isn't exactly sure what to do because he doesn't have all the info. yet. but i also think he would wait for action until he DID have it all ( ... )
