The CEO is able to recognize and hire talented people.
+The CEO trusts the competent people within the company to do their job while she does hers.

The CEO has a vision. A passion. A drive other than money to make something great. Greatness first, money will naturally follow.

The CEO has empathy... takes a lesson from Dale Carnegie's book and understands the motivations of her employees... and supports those motivations.

You can often tell how one is with business by...
1)How they treat their romantic partner/immediate family and
2)How they treat the waitstaff in a restaurant
