More tales of woe ... or should it be wails of toe?

Well, I finally got my cast off today! The plaster cutting machine was actually very tickly - Rosie could hear me guffawing helplessly from out in the waiting room.

Unfortunately, my foot is still swollen and the scar in my heel is quite tender, so I can't put on the new boots I had raised! Two hundred fucking dollars on a brand new pair of boots

that must feel nice to have the plaster off :-)
are you going to have to wear lifts always now? or just during recovery?
i was always fascinated with orthapedic shoes.. not sure if that is funny or just plain wierd!
