since ive been having problems with my stupid preferences in my journal i decided to take out the background!!! *cries* gahh stupid background had to repeat!!!

You could try to go to Manage Click Customize than at the end click edit customizations and than click Background there should be something saying Background Image Repeat and than check Override Default and click the text that says repeat and switch it to something else *shrug* I don't know if you tried this. ^^
