I hope you start feeling better. I bet you can't wait for school to start.

When we actually, finally meet, maybe you can tell me about this "INK" incident. ;)

Hi! I was looking on the UD community thing and saw your comment about having lived in Rodney your freshman year. I got my housing assignment and I'm in Rodney C. I'm somewhat disappointed because I really was looking forward to having a roommate. Anyway, I'm just wondering if you found it to be less social than other dorms? Were people often secluded in their rooms not wanting anything to do with other people? Also, someone told me something weird about the doors not closing right? lol I don't know. Any idea as to what that's about? Is Rodney really as ghetto as I've heard it is? Was the AC a definite plus or not really?Sorry to have so many questions, but I'm just curious as to what it will be like. I wish I had a roommate to experience it with, but I guess it will be nice to have my own room. Thanks for all your help! I may be back with more questions! :o)

Hi! Welcome to the rodjects, I think you will absolutely love it! I think that Rodney, Russell, and Dickinson are the most social freshman dorms. The first couple weeks of the semester, and for the most part, all year, you could walk down the hall and if people were in their rooms, their doors were always open. Unless they were sleeping or studying or whatever, people were so social and friendly. Everyone is in the same position, you know? No one wants to be alone with no friends ( ... )

Wow! That was so sweet of to write all of that. I felt that only the anti social nerds wanted singles, too! But I guess it's not that way. I'm sure there are many people who got singles and didn't want them. I'm feeling better about the whole situation and I'm glad I have you here to fill me in on all of this! So thanks! I will definitely have to bring another chair. I would hate having to sit in one of those chairs you described. What's the Rodney bug? Is it actually something or just a saying? I've heard two people mention it so far so now I'm curious. Do people stay in their room a lot during the day or are they usually running around elsewhere? Also, since it's coed by floor, did you find that you were able to meet guys in the building? Or did people stay on their own floors? That would be weird. Hmm.. what about noise level? Was it difficult to study in the dorm or did you find it to be okay? I guess that's all the questions I have for now. I'll have to IM you sometime. Thanks again for all your help.. I really appreciate it!
