For anyone who's a Greer Lankton fan, there is a new memoir by Julia Morton HERE.

And Thairin Smothers has also just released some never before seen footage of Greer and her work at the 1995 Whitney Biennial HERE.

Our good friend Jojo Baby has a small piece by Greer that he says was modeled after Thairin. It's an armless/legless/headless torso with real pubic hair...

We also met Thairin on the set of Party Monster. It was a marathon 17 hour shoot that day, and Zazoo and I listened to Thairin and Jojo talk all about such things as the first "Pumpkinhead" party in Chicago and the notorious video that Thairin created for it. Hint: it involves a pumpkin, and I doubt it will ever get posted to the internet. :)
