1.       Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3 part 1
Changmin sighed as he bobbed up and down in his bowl. They’d been stuck in their hotel room all day and Jaejoong had been ravished at least three times by each member, even when he didn’t want to be (Changmin read his mind). Yoochun stumbled out of the bathroom looking ruffled, shirt half up his chest (Changmin definitely wasn’t going to read his mind now), and absentmindedly touched his crotch to which his hips reacted and -
“HYUNG! NO!”
-a great rumble filled the house as the walls shook and dust fell down, pictures and ornaments falling from the shelves, the bowl of jjajangmyeon smashing on the floor with a great ‘sploosh’. Changmin mourned it’s passing. Yoochun blinked.
“Whoops. I’ll clean that later.”
Junsu skipped gaily through the front door holding a large box behind him. He ran up to Changmin who bobbed, unamused at his hyung who looked extremely pleased with himself.
“You’re going to love me Changmin!” exclaimed Junsu. Yoochun (who’d collapsed on the couch after cleaning) raised an eyebrow.
“How about no?” said Changmin. Junsu was undeterred.
“I bought you,” he whipped out the box, “Some friends!”
The lid of the box came out and Junsu presented him with guppies. Changmin’s eye twitched.
“Hyung, are you really that dumb? Really?”
Junsu looked hurt.
“I just bought you some friends….Look how nice and gold they are.”
“Yeah, together you look like red packets. Or KAT-TUN’s costumes,” drawled Yoochun.
“You can talk to them!” cried Junsu.
Changmin stared.
“First of all hyung, I appreciate this…gesture, but just because I’m an octopus doesn’t mean I can talk to other fish. I’m still human in some respects. Secondly, they are freshwater fish.”
Junsu looked confused.
“So?”
“I am an octopus. I live in the sea.”
Junsu still looked confused.
“So I’ll add salt in their water or take some out of yours. Then you can be friends!”
Changmin had just about hauled himself up the side of the tank, ready to squirt ink in Junsu’s eyes when Jaejoong emerged from the bathroom, fiddling with his new bra. Yoochun suddenly looked more awake.
“This bra…So…Uncomfortable. I don’t understand how to adjust the straps…It’s just…Too…Tight,” breathed out Jaejoong, his eyes half closed as he tried adjusting it.
“I’ll help you hyung!” cried Junsu and promptly dropped the box (and two goldfish) into the bin. Yoochun sprang up from the couch and followed them into the bathroom, someone letting out a yell from inside (sounded like Yunho).
Changmin peered down at the two goldfish who were swimming aimlessly in circles, looking as lost and confused as the person who’d bought them. Chuckling evilly he squirted a tiny bit of ink (well, he needed to relieve himself anyway) and waved a tentacle goodbye.
Later (about two hours later thought Changmin with a scowl) when the other members emerged from the bathroom, Jaejoong making a big fuss over the fact his new bra was now shredded into infinite pieces on the floor, Changmin decided it was the best time to call a meeting.
“What do you want to talk about Changmin?” asked Yunho. “Oh, does your water need changing?”
“Let ME take care of that!” cried Junsu before anyone could say otherwise, waving his hands and gesturing towards the bathroom. The water inside the bowl swirled around (along with Changmin who swirled around too), was lifted into the air, and catapulted into the bathroom…toilet. Junsu blanched.
“Crap. I was aiming for the sink.”
Jaejoong and Yoochun were rolling around in laughter on the floor so Yunho took it upon himself to fetch Changmin from the toilet. Two angry black eyes stared at him from where Changmin had been wedged between the toilet seat and toilet bowl. Yunho flinched and carefully extracted him.
“Ahahahaha! Changminnie’s going to kill you now!” said Yoochun, clutching his sides.
Jaejoong was pounding the side of the couch.
“Or ink you to death instead! Since he’s a squid!”
The Soulmate couple looked at each other and burst into fresh giggles.  Yunho shook his head as he came out with Changmin who let out fresh ink onto the pair who squealed like girls and ran back into the bathroom wailing. Junsu let out his trademark laugh and Changmin took the opportunity to let him taste his badass octopus ink. Junsu gagged and was about to spit ink on the floor but Yunho gave his best Leader stare and Junsu ran into the bathroom too, slamming the door behind him. Yunho gave a tired sigh and filled up Changmin’s bowl with fresh seawater. Something that sounded suspiciously like a moan came out of the bathroom.
“Are you ok in there? Was that Junsu?” asked Yunho as he picked Changmin up from where he placed him temporarily.
“Ahh, Junsu, do that again with your hips, Chun…Yoochun, that feels so good!”
Yunho dropped Changmin (“Why not IN my bowl?”) and upon finding the door locked, proceeded to run straight through the wall.
“Get off Jaejoong!”
Changmin crawled slowly up the side of the bowl, thankful that his tentacles had their little suction cups. They really needed to have a meeting.
‘Ah! Ah! OH GOD YUNHO!’
Changmin stopped trying to read minds.
2.       Inconspicuous
“I don’t see the point of having to practice when one member is a squid-”
“OCTOPUS!”
“-another member talks to fish-“
“I’m their King!”
“-and either Yunho or I can cause disasters when dancing,” said Micky, crossing his arms petulantly.
Jaejoong glared.
“What about me?! I’m a woman now! You didn’t mention that!”
Yoochun shrugged.
“No big difference apart from the cleavage. You can still sing your parts, umma.”
Jaejoong shrieked and attempted to throw Changmin and Yoochun, Changmin holding on for dear life. Yunho sighed and freed the shaken octopus from Jaejoong’s flailing hands and put him safely back in his bowl. Junsu cowered behind the couch.
“Well, I’m guessing they say practice but what they actually mean is a meeting about what to do with us until we turn back.”
“If we turn back,” said Changmin and hid in his pineapple when Jaejoong turned to glare at him once more.
“Let’s get changed now,” said Yunho and ignored the protests that came after.
Sneaking out of their apartment was harder than they expected, for even though their fans weren’t to the level of crazy as Big Bang’s (whereby they took shifts and sat outside for 24hours of the day), they still had they apartment surrounded complete with cameras and tripwires (their manager would know).  Yunho adjusted his beard and turned to look at the others. Jaejoong had a curly wig on (ahjumma alert!) and pillows stuffed beneath his dress which he’d covered up with a trenchcoat (“Fat Inspector Gadget has arrived!” cried Yoochun and was subsequently clawed), Junsu had a long red wig, sunglasses, a hat and a mask, and Yoochun had….nothing. Well, nobody noticed him anyway.
Upon finding that even the emergency staircase was being monitored, that the laundry chute had been bugged and fixed with booby traps (“So that’s why our pillow cases keep coming back with stains!”), it seemed the only route was the garbage chute.
“Oh no, no way hyung,” said Yoochun, “I am not going in there.”
Junsu eyed the chute warily and winced as he got a whiff of rotting fruit and old cheese.
“Hyung, can’t we stay home and rest? Let Manager-hyung go instead, he won’t mind!”
Yunho shook his head and gave his best Leader-shii look (the effect was lost once he flinched after getting a particularly strong whiff).
“Manager-hyung is already waiting for us in the van, right next to where the rubbish chute ends. Let’s just go and get this over with. Don’t make a sound when you go down!”
“Will you go first?” asked Jaejoong, batting his nice, long, silky black eyelashes (100% real), “Since you’re our brave leader.”
Yunho had to pull up some strong willpower to resist those fluttering eyelashes of doom (and the tongue that kept flicking out to lick the sides of Jae’s mouth).
“No, because I know if I go first you will be unlikely to follow. So one of you will go first.”
He looked at Yoochun. Yoochun grabbed Junsu and shoved him towards the chute.
“Hyung, but my hips will be shaking all the way down and I may cause an earthquake or destroy the chute! I need Junsu with me to stop my hips shaking!”
“WHAT!?”
Jaejoong leered.
“You just want an excuse to grope him you perv.”
“Like you don’t want to go with Yunho!”
Yunho rubbed his temples and looked at Changmin who was happily counting bubbles in his bowl. So much for help.
“Junsu, just go with him. Make sure you hold on tight and that his hips don’t move, in fact, sit on him. No, lie on him since there’s not enough space.”
“But hyung”
“GO!”
Yunho punched the wall (gently) for emphasis, the force causing dust to fall and the floor to shake slightly. Yoochun looked like Christmas had come early and grabbed a squealing Junsu flush against him.
“Hold on tight babe, it’s going to be a wild ride.”
Changmin almost inked from the grease. Junsu looked scared.
“Right, Jaejoong, you’re next. Hold Changmin tight.”
“Hyung no!”
Jaejoong pouted and grabbed the bowl, checking briefly to make sure the cover they’d put on was secure (selotape with holes) , before sliding in with a whine. The look he gave Yunho was one that assured him a very peaceful sleep tonight and Yunho shrunk beneath his gaze.
“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! RAPE! RAAAAAAAAAAAAPE!”
“STOP SQUIRMING SU!”
“MY WATEEEEERRRR!”
“SHUT UPPPPPPPP!”
“…………………………………*sigh*”
After all had landed safely (on used diapers-Jaejoong immediately stripped off his trench coat and was forced to put it back on), their manager bundled them into the van before rabid fans caught wind of their escape (or heard their screams). Upon reaching the SM Entertainment building, they were made to go through the food corridor instead of the main or escape entrance (not that they minded). As with their photoshoots, the formation still stood, Jaejoong in the middle with the others surrounding him. Changmin’s water had to be changed on the way since he’d inked himself during the chaotic ride down the rubbish chute; Junsu was still traumatized (and a wee bti turned on) from his bumpy ride. Yunho needed a break. As they entered the familiar corridors they started to strip away their disguises. Jaejoong smiled in relief and stripped off his trench coat, stretching and making a S-wave which sent a wave of pheromones flowing to infect every male within standing distance.
“Crap,” said Yoochun before attaching himself like a limpet to Jaejoong’s neck.
Junsu had grabbed a nearby railing for support but was edging ever closer, looking pained. Changmin watched as Yunho had an internal battle which resulted in him yelling and punching through two stories before running towards Jaejoong who squealed (most likely in joy) and ran off, Yunho and Yoochun following, shedding clothes and pillows in his wake.
Junsu shuddered as the trio disappeared down the corridor and stared with wide eyes at Changmin.
“He made me think of dolphin sex. Do you have any idea how bad that looks?”
Changmin shook his head. He’d closed off mental connections long ago to prevent stupidity infecting him.
Onew watched as Minho was flattened by a pillow and Jonghyun was thrown to the side by what looked like a raging U-know Yunho; Key quickly grabbing Taemin and shielded his eyes as the (rather sexy with large cleavage) lady threw her shirt away leaving only her spaghetti top and skirt.
“Was that Jaejoong hyung?”
3.       Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3 part 2
Changmin sighed as he took in the scene before him, using his tentacles to wipe off some of the ink he’d spurted on the inside of the tank. The meeting room was a mess, the tables smashed and splinters embedded in the wall, glass on the floor and what looked like blood on the carpet. Jaejoong’s pheromones coupled with his skimpy outfit had caused quite the stir upon his chaotic entry into the meeting room before Yunho and Yoochun tackled him. The directors and chairman hadn’t stood a chance of resistance, especially not when Jaejoong was already so aroused, and had leapt on the trio eagerly (Changmin was never going to forget the horrifying sight until he died. Unless when he reverted to a human all his octopus memories left. Time to pray.). Junsu went into shock upon arriving with Changmin and his confused state caused all the fish in the tanks surrounding the room to go haywire and suddenly fish suicides were happening by the dozens.
Yunho hadn’t taken Jaejoong being groped by a non-band member too well which resulted in him pushing (throwing) people away and Yoochun’s vigorous hip movements caused another mini-earthquake of which the results still showed. This show of extreme manliness pleased Jaejoong even more and made him even more aroused which meant that the men kept on coming so Yunho punched the floor and made a sort of trench in which he, Yoochun and Jaejoong had buried themselves in. When they finally emerged, disheveled but most certainly happy, everyone else had been carted off to ER and Junsu was crying a river of the death of so many subjects. Changmin snorted.
“I think we really need to talk about controlling our powers.”
4.       Only human
It had seemed like a good idea in the beginning, easy to pull off and easy to get away. But they hadn’t expected the rest of the gang to come back so early nor did they expect them to have more than one child. The plan had been to sneak into the warehouse where they’d heard a child was being held, rescue her in the way they’d done with the hostesses and get out. But this warehouse wasn’t near the sea and so Junsu’s power was rendered useless and there were at least ten crying kids and thirty angry gangsters heading for them. In the protection of their van, hidden away in the alley, Changmin watched as Yunho and Yoochun fended off the men whilst Junsu and Jaejoong herded the children away and towards him. Jaejoong was tired and unable to release any pheromones due to exhaustion, he’d been left to break the chains on the children whilst the others fended off the guards and Junsu tried desperately to find some allies, two wailing kids in his arms, another holding tightly onto his coat. Yoochun was swaying his hips as much as he could but he’d taken a few hits and was nursing what was sure to be a bruised nose.
“Hyung, behind you!” cried Junsu and Yunho turned in time to break the metal rod heading for his head.
“Hurry up! Hurry up!” muttered Changmin as Junsu reached him without being followed, pushing in four dirty kids and running back to relieve Jaejoong of his three so he could go back and get the last few.
Yunho was limping slightly (the baseball bat had shattered against his powerful legs and Changmin saw Yunho wince as he pulled a shard out), trying to steady himself against the blows and Yoochun’s erratic earthquakes. Changmin cursed his uselessness and watched as Jaejoong successfully passed the kids to Junsu and managed to let out a small wave of pheromones which sent the two men closest to him into a kissing frenzy.
Remembering his telepathy, Changmin opened up all connections and was flooded with a mess of chaotic thoughts, of his friends and their enemies.
‘…The children! I’m almost at the van…’
‘……This guy is so strong, like he’s not human….’
‘FUCK!’
‘….Need to get a good aim…’
‘What!?’ Changmin scanned the crowd for the man with that thought and spotted him fumbling clumsily with a gun up on a balcony. Junsu pulled the van open and pushed the last kids in, jumping into the drivers seat.
“Hyung he’s got a gun!” yelled Changmin and Junsu looked around in panic to see the man aiming at Yunho.
“DRIVE!” cried Changmin.
Junsu’s foot hit the pedal and the van screeched as he tore towards the warehouse, the kids screaming in the back, a huddled mess.
“LOOK OUT HYUNG!” cried Junsu and watched as Yunho turned to see the man pull the trigger. Junsu screamed as Jaejoong hit the floor and lay still, his face pale and eyes closed in pain. Yoochun let out a wail and buried men beneath a wall before running towards his Soulmate. Yunho’s face morphed from one of utter shock to anger and he snarled, throwing a table up at the man who had barely any time to defend himself, bullet useless against a flying table.
“Get him in!” cried Yunho before punching the wall beneath the balcony.
Yoochun pulled Jaejoong into the van and Junsu pulled up beside Yunho who jumped in, kicking the warehouse viciously as they drove out, watching with small satisfaction as it collapsed.
The ride to the police station was silent apart from Yoochun’s sobs and the children whimpering in the back. They left the kids with a bewildered officer and drove off.
“Hyung…” whispered Yoochun and Jaejoong squeezed his hand, wincing as they went over a bump.
“I will survive, I’ll stay alive,” sung Jaejoong in badly accented English before coughing.
“Don’t make him talk. He’ll lose more blood,” snapped Yunho. Yoochun winced and Jaejoong smiled comfortingly.
“Hyung” Junsu started.
“Drive.”
Junsu flinched and drove straight to the hospital.
They watched Jaejoong’s sleeping form beneath white sheets, in a white room, clad in a white gown.
“It’s like a bloody funeral,” muttered Yunho and continued to stare angrily out the window. Junsu and Yoochun had gathered on either side of Jaejoong, the beeping of the heart monitor and the constant dripping of the IV the only other sounds. Changmin watched silently from his bowl, watched as Yoochun clutched onto Jaejoong’s hand like a lifeline; Junsu stroking his hair and whispering things Jaejoong probably couldn’t hear.
“This is the last time we play hero. Our identities were lucky not to be revealed and we’re lucky that the company and this hospital will keep this confidential.”
“But hyung”
“Don’t start Park Yoochun!”
Yunho whirled around and stormed over to him, glaring. The bags were visible beneath his eyes, his leg bandaged hurriedly by himself in the rush to get Jaejoong treated.
“This was your idea to rescue these kids! Look where we are now! Look at Jaejoong!”
“Hyung, please, we saved those kids,” said Junsu, looking like he was about to start crying again.
“Yeah and one of us could’ve been killed! I’m not taking that risk again.”
Yunho looked at Jaejoong who was oblivious to it all, drugged and asleep.
“I’m sorry hyung but we’re saving people! We can’t just sit useless in our rooms, we saved those kids!” protested Yoochun. Yunho shook hid, fists clenched.
“What if our powers had gone during that time? We’d be beaten to within an inch of our lives, those kids would be shipped off to wherever, we could be dead. Do you want that? We don’t even know our limits! We can’t judge how much we can do or what we can do!”
“Jaejoong would’ve agreed with me.”
Yunho stared. Yoochun was looking at the ground, still holding onto Jaejoong.
“What?”
And Yoochun was on the ground, the small bedside table overturned, flowers strewn on the ground along with the broken vase; Junsu crying softly in the background as Yunho punched Yoochun.
“What makes you think he’d agree? Because you’re Soulmates? Because you think you know him best? Everything is so easy to you!”
“Hyung please stop!” cried Junsu, but Yunho continued pummeling Yoochun.
“Hyung please!” cried Changmin and Yunho stopped to look at him.
“You! You can’t do anything but read minds and we can’t even use that because I’m so damn scared you’ll get hurt too!”
“Hyung, he told me about the gun,” said Junsu.
Yunho stopped punching Yoochun, releasing him to collapse on the cold white floor, now stained with red. Yoochun coughed and wiped away the blood covering his mouth, pulling himself up to rest by Jaejoong, the blood dripping onto pristine white sheets. Yunho shoved him away and Junsu cried out once more, begging him to stop.
“Leave him alone! You’ve done enough!”
A hand touched his clenched one hesitantly, before unwrapping the fingers and sliding in, cold against warm. Jaejoong looked at him beneath lidded eyes and made a “ssh” noise before closing them, giving his hand a comforting squeeze.
They never played hero again.
A/N: Wow, I’m surprised how serious the last one turned out. For those readers following the Office series, I’m in a bit of a brain block and am trying to finish the chapter so please be patient. Hope you enjoyed these drabbles though, comments are love!!
