I've 'considered' it as in I've thought about it the past and said it might be something I'd be willing to do, but that was when I was much younger and before I discovered how sucky being pregnant is, that all of my pregnancies will be high risk, and before we found out we have difficulty conceiving. I'm not going to risk my health or waste my fertile year going through another pregnancy for anyone but us. I've also recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and am on a bunch of meds for that and other things, so I don't think I'd even be a candidate to be a surrogate

Everything I've heard about surrogacy says that you shouldn't go into it until you have completed your own family - aka, you don't want any more children and you are doing it because you want to carry a baby for someone else. I don't think it's necessarily a good idea to go into knowing that you want another child and thinking that this will be a substitute for that, unless the reason you want another one is because you want to be pregnant again. I definitely don't think it's a good idea to do it so you can raise money for another baby, because there's a lot emotionally wrapped up in being pregnant for someone else. This is ESPECIALLY true if you know you want another baby!
