Tycho over at Penny Arcade pretty much nails a one-line review of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse:

It's a science fiction retelling of MTV's The Real World, and it works about as well as you would expect.

I started recording the series, but I have yet to watch any of the episodes. Now I am wondering if it is even worth it. I wasn't even someone who watched Buffy, I liked firefly but only started watching the DVD.

The second episode was slightly better than the first episode, but we had to read this episode as a short story in high school.

Since the Terminator TV series has become unwatchable, we may replace it with Dollhouse as something slightly less unwatchable.

I've generally liked Terminator this season, but what was up with last night's episode? It made no sense to either one of us.

Yes! We were like "WTF?" throughout last night's episode. It's like we know this script sucks so we will pretend it is a dream/flashback thing because our writers were all wasted.
