[Personality]
Colette is a sweet girl, honest, and caring to all of those around her. Her kindness reaches out to those in need, even those questionable of friendship. Even still, with a heart of gold it is almost impossible not to get touched by this overwhelming amount of joy she tries to bring to her life as well as those around her.
From birth, Colette knew she a Chosen- predestined to save her world by become an Angel to regenerate the Mana lost Sylvarant. Because of this, and knowing that she would die saving her world, she matured very quickly. It is not often she was seen causing trouble for her parents or even misbehaving at school. She is attentive, and developed her own selfless nature. That is to say that she thinks more of her friends than herself- whom at first has no idea of her fate at the end of the World Regenerate journey. Many a times has she stuck out her neck for those around her, or was quick to assist someone in need. Even if that person wasn't exactly the definition of a 'good guy'.
This selfless nature though sometimes had it's negative effects. Because of her journey, Colette would slowly lose one sense after another from each seal they visited. Each time she would not say anything, or simply brush it off with an 'I'm sorry'. When finally confronted about not being able to feel, she replied only saying she didn't want everyone to worry about her.
"Well, I figured this is what it means to become an angel, so I shouldn't let it get to me."
She finds that since everyone else is having a fun time of the journey, she wouldn't want to bother anyone else with her problems. Even when everyone in the group deeply cares for her. Colette hides away her pain and replaces it with a smile. That way, she would be able to enjoy the time she had with them, rather than seeing unhappy faces.
Colette even went as far as to lie to Lloyd- one of her best friends- just so he wouldn't go on the journey with her at first. Not because she didn't want him to come along, but because she cared for his well-being too much to know of her outcome. This gives a clear example of how much she cherishes her friends.
Another thing about her and friendship- she is able to befriend people very quickly, even if the other on the befriending side doesn't think so. When a certain assassin name Sheena attempted to kill Colette and had fallen in a ground passageway, Colette is the first to be concerned about her. She also disregards the fact that Sheena tried to kill her, and instead was determined to make friends with her first before finding out why she did that. A little odd, but she is willing to make friends with anyone and anything.
"Yeah, once we become friends, I'll have to ask her about it!"
Because of her nature, Colette is often very oblivious to things others would find rather obvious. Taking the example of Sheena, and also her continuous tripping habits. While she herself just finds herself to be clumsy, the others see that as very helpful. Usually because her mistakes tend to open passageways or even save them from time to time while solving problems. This not only includes the fact that she is a tad clueless, but all the same just as innocent minded.
Though being responsible and brave, Colette does lack on the side of self-confidence. She often looks towards Lloyd for support on what to do, and goes with whatever he does. She is also sometimes slow when it comes to making really big and sudden decisions, finding it difficult at times to know the right reaction to a certain situation. But with the support of her friends and the overall view of it all, she is able to do all she can for the right of the worlds, as well as for herself and others.
[Abilities]
Colette uses two rings for a weapon- often called chakrams. She uses these weapons in middle-ranged combat, and also can has the ability to use long-ranged magic. When receiving her angel powers though, she is granted brand new Artes with each of the new seals. These new Artes each fall into three different categories; strike, magic, and mystic. [ Strike being the artes she only uses once in special situations. ]
Her angel magic artes include Angel Feathers, Holy Song, Sacrifice, Grand Cross, and Judgment. These vary from healing spells to offensive attacks, while possibly even hurting herself on impact.
Mystic arts thus include: Holy Judgment, Shining Blind, and Divine Judgment. Like the magic artes, these can also inflict offensive damage, but can also increase status elements such as strength and defense.

- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be? Hmm... I would like to think I'm a nice person. Oh, that was two words, wasn't it? [ A pause- lightbulb! ] Wait! Can I change my answer? I am a bit of a klutz, too.
- Someone is trying to rob you! What do you do? O-oh...! I'm sure that person must of wanted that really bad to try to take it from me, so I would let them have it, of course!
- If you could have any super ability, what would it be and why? I would wish to fly--! Oh hehe, I guess I can already do that, huh? Let’s see… oh! I would love to be able to talk to dogs!
- There is a cake in the rain. What do you do? Cake in the rain? I guess it would really depend on what kind of cake it was. Because if it was chocolate cake, I would probably need to wear something other than white- or get a bigger umbrella! But would it fall in chucks or as a whole? [ Gasp! ] Maybe the fallen carrot cakes would join together and form this one gigantic carrot to feed everyone in Sylvarant!
- You discover someone stalking you. Do you call the police or deal with it yourself? I wouldn't call the police on them! I'm sure they have a good reason for following me around- maybe we can even become friends!
- What is more important to you: having friends or living on your own? Why? Defiantly friends. They're always besides you whenever you need it most to support you, or care about you. I'm very lucky to have the friends I do...

"Please, dream some good dreams for me, Lloyd."
The thought had had passed through her mind over and over again as the night grew longer. She tried to sleep- she really did- but the drowsiness she often felt during this time was no longer there. Still upon Lloyd's request Colette tried to stay committed to what she had told the boy only an hour ago. Her eyes closed, a little more forceful than normal, but they would only reopen moments later. The process repeated itself; the closing, waiting, and then eventually opening again with a sigh. It was no use- her sense of sleep was taken away from her.
This is what it meant to become an angel, right? To slowly rid of things that kept her attached to this world and get her prepared for the new. Colette could understand that, it was her duty after all. Something she had known would happen at an early age. Yet when it came down to it, with everything happening to fast, it was only- well, human to have the sense of fear beginning to creep upon her. But with realization setting anew as to her goal, the female only brushed the fear aside. Sure, it was scary, but this was something she had to do. For a better world, for her friends, and for Lloyd, too.
With her position on the ground she stirred, turning now to face the snoozing Lloyd only a few feet away. He looked so peaceful, like he was really enjoying this journey- so why stop him from feeling like that? The thought then cause her shoulders to relax.
"Right, I'm doing this for you- for everyone." It was a whisper- only audible to herself. Yet the words put herself more at ease. Right, she was encouraging herself- her own pain.
"I'm going to regenerate the world so that I can always see that smile. So please... forgive me..."
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] I would love the opportunity to play as Colette here not only to associate with the wonderful canon mates here, but also so place Colette in a different environment for a social aspect. I’m sure she’ll love it here!
