Right, Eileen Ruth. I did hear about that.

So there are three people in the Ministry who know what they were keeping there to begin with, and of course, none of them are telling us. It must be something (or things, I suppose) that's really powerful. Something they don't want the wizarding world to know they've lost. Merlin.

I feel like we should be able to get this, if we just knew a little bit more or could make the right connection...

Death Eaters do not fear death or torture. Threats shall fall upon empty ears and pain is quite useless against them. Anger shall only humour them.

I do not doubt that we shall continue to be a step behind them, Tonks, and our only hope in all of this is that we be prepared when the next attack arrives. The only certainty that I know for certain these days is that we could still learn from the Enemy.

When the obvious sources prove to be fruitless, perhaps the information could be found from the least expected sources.

Percy Weasley is close to the Minister, isn't he? Maybe he could... I don't know... try to find something out for us?

I...well there is a thought if we can't figure this out on our own. If you'd like, I can see if he can't find anything out. Couldn't hurt, I suppose.

Is he close to Scrimgeour? I didn't know anyone was. . .

Well, at the very least he works in the same department as Scrimgeour, which is more than any of the rest of us can say. As I said, it couldn't hurt to see if he could find out something. The worst that would happen is that he'd hit a dead end just like the rest of us.
