[Personality] Tonks is very bright and cheerful and very enthusiastic about meeting new people. She offers to help out with tasks - such as assisting Molly Weasley with cooking - even if she isn't exactly going to be helpful. At school she wasn't made a Prefect at school as her head of house didn't think she knew how to behave herself impying that she definitely had a mischievous side. At the dinner table at Grimmauld Place she would often entertain Ginny and Hermione by showing off her metamorphmagus abilities and became an older sister figure to them
By being a member of the Order of the Phoenix, she has a great degree of bravery as the Ministry of Magic are not to know of the Order’s existence and the Order’s job - fighting Death Eaters and Dark Wizards - is extremely dangerous. She is known to be resourceful as her father Ted remarks later in the series that Tonks has gotten herself into tight spots before but she’s always managed to get herself out of them in the end.
Tonks is incredibly clumsy though and often trips over things or breaks them such as smashing plates when the Order went to rescue Harry or knocking over an umbrella stand in Grimmauld Place. She has no talent for household spells and is, like her father Ted, a bit lazy when it comes to cleaning.
[Specialties/Abilities] Tonks, as an Auror, is an extremely competent witch as Aurors need to gain a minimum of five N.E.W.T.s in Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Charms and Herbology with grades no lower than Exceeds Expectations. She was young for an Auror (she completed her training when she was twenty-one) and one of the last candidates to pass. Her best marks came in Concealment and Disguise but she almost failed Stealth and Tracking due to her clumsiness.
Tonks knows how to duel well as that is part of her job, could summon a Patronus charm and use it as a means of communication. She also had some talent for non-verbal magic and for flying.
Tonks is also a Metamorphmagus meaning she is able to change her form at will without the need for spells or potions. Along with looking like any other person or a completely different person, she is able to take on some unusual features such as duck lips or a pig snout. Emotions can influence this ability such as her hair being mousy brown when she’s depressed.
