ROOT CANAL

So I had a root canal yesterday afternoon and everyone told me how easy it was. The procedure was easy, but now my tooth is in pain. I can't eat. My tongue is irritating my tooth when I talk. Who is Clara if she can't eat or talk? Seriously though, to anyone out there who has been a sufferer of a root canal, am I a big baby or should I call ( Read more... )

Aww...sorry your tooth is being such a pain. (No, that wasn't on purpose.) I don't know if it is normal or not, but I see nothing wrong with calling your dentist's office and getting their opinion. :)

When I had my root canal I can't recall how it was. There was all sorts of other stuff going on though, too, like the crown replacement and the drilling my tooth down to a skinny peg, so I don't know what feeling was attributed to what cause. I will say this, though: give the dentist a call if you're not feeling good about it. They can prescribe something for you if you want or they can at least tell you if it's not normal. Any time you start messing with nerves in your face all sorts of weirdo things can happen.

That stinks. Mouth pain is the most annoying I think, and its also what I fear the most. It's hard to ignore something that is so close to your brain.
