10 Movies I'm Dying to See
10. Where the Wild Things Are
It doesn't look mindblowingly awesome, but I'm a sucker for the fantasy genre, especially ones based on books. (Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Neverending Story...)
So -- even if the furries are scaring me -- bring it on.
9. Bruno
SACHA BARON COHEN IS HOT. (except when he's Borat, in which case: ew) And you've got to admit, he knows just how to annoy the living hell out of everyone in the funniest way possible.
And the trailer is hilarious!
"This may come as a surprise for you, but I am gay", "I will give him a traditional african name ... Ojay", "That is such a Samantha thing to say" --> =))
I've never watched Borat, nor will I probably ever will. But I will jump Bruno's bones at a snap.
8. UP
This actually came out over a month ago, in the states, on my birthday.
But well, not here yet.
Although my excitement was diminished after watching Wall-E, I still really wanna see just how much this movie can make me cry. :3
Because fact: Pixar never fails.
7. Sherlock Holmes
Rachel McAdams? Jude Law? RDJ? Overheating here.
I'm, of course, having doubts about how they're being portrayed -- they're definitely not the conventional Holmes and Watson duo. But the stunt with the hammer in the trailer, and the very last scene with the maid? Sold. :))
6. Coraline
Oh come on. How long has this been out? A year?
I adore the book, and love the comic book, therefore I must love this movie.
I hear from those who've watched it that it's terribly americanized, however still effectively frightening. I need to see this for myself. Nao please.
5. Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince
Oo, 5 lang siya. :<
Maybe it was because I didn't like Book 6 that much, or because the posters are ugly, I dunno. But still, it's Harry Potter. The movies are always high quality to an extent.
I'm still hoping this completely blows me away though. Who knows? It may just become my favorite movie in the franchise.

Already posted on epicpanini's blog, but reposting because of the awesomeness. With a cast like that and my favorite guy as the producer, where can you possibly go wrong? I'm hooked on the animation already. It's so gorgeous. 8)
3. Jennifer's Body
OMG. Why is this above 9? I don't know.
Maybe it's because for the first time ever, I found Megan Fox pretty. I mean, hell, never ako nabakla sa Transformers, but then that one shot of her in the violet cheering costume and I was like, "SHE'S SO PRETTY *O*"
*ahem*, anyway. Maybe it's also because I wanna see Mamma Mia girl again. This is such a far genre from what she usually does. It'd be nice to see her come into her own. And her chemistry with Fox is something I'd like to see as well.
Maybe it's cause the cinematography is gorgeous, or because the music rocks, or because it's just that type of genre of movie I love to hate to love.
I don't know.
Bottom line: I need to see this movie.
2. Nine
Words cannot convey how in love with this trailer I am. I already memorize the freaking lyrics, and sing it in the shower when I think no one can here.
Fergie's voice is just mindblowing here. Who knows just how much blood we'll loose exploding over the surge of talent from the rest of the cast?
And DANIEL DAY-LEWIS. I love Daniel. He's a fucking vampire and he scares the living hell out of me and he rocks. I will probably implode into happiness if his voice turns out to be gorgeous.
Also: Penolope Cruz. Not my favorite person. But, damn. Damn.
AAAAAAAGH. CAN'T WAAAAAIT.

I NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE SO BAD I'M DYING HERE BUT I CAN'T REALLY DIE BECAUSE I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE BECAUSE 1:13 -- asdfghjkl GOEBBELS IT IS THE SHIT.
Now, I'm not necessarily a fan of Quentin Tarantino, but I am a huge fan of Kill Bill, and I know that how capable he is of putting sprinkles of epicshine into his dialogue.
Also, this movie has ELI FREAKING ROTH, what promises to be an amazing screenplay, a superawesome trailer, Brad Pitt (if you're into Brad Pitt) and a lot of Nazi jokes/history that I can apply my Goebbels; Hitler Nazi research fetish to.
Therefore: Want now. BAD. BAD. BAD.
