So, tomorrow is April Fools' Day. I just want to remind everyone that telling a lie, then repeatedly insisting it's true when everyone calls you on it isn't so much funny as it is tedious. If you get called out on your gags, accept it gracefully so everyone can have a laugh and move on.

Jeez, do people over the age of twelve (ok, maybe twenty) actually do this? That's highly lame.

I would also add that, to make a good April Fools prank, not only do you have to concede once you're called on it, it has to be clever.

boy, sounds like you might have had some rough April Fools' days in the past?
I don't remember even remembering the occasion for the last several years, if not for Rob Brezny's horoscopes. I hope nobody pulls a dumb trick on you tomorrow.

No, not rough. Just boring and tedious. Lots of people who think they're being "clever" or "funny" but just being dumb and annoying.
