My marathon training has been uneventful thus far, so I haven't really felt the need to reflect on my progress.

I have struggled with plantar fasciitis every time I try running. It blows. The thing that sucks the most is that, even if it's not so bad, it can totally mess you up long-term. Hope you feel better soon.

It's been really fun to do Kenpo! I've missed martial arts in a bad way since we stopped, and so it's like scratching an itch to do it again.
Except that today my instructor decided we'd do a ton of legwork, when I ran a half-marathon yesterday ... my legs are dead to the world right now!

Yeah, it's the weirdest thing to feel like I have to baby this injury even though it hurts WAY less than every other pain I have. And it's so frustrating to not be able to just go out for a little jog! I keep thinking, well, maybe it's okay if I only do 3 miles ... But I can't and I hate it, especially when I see other people out in their super cute running outfits or having fun running with their dogs! I wanna be out there too! / whine.
