I don't believe I didn't comment on this before. This is absolutely brilliant. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.

I love the hunting scene.

This:

Is one of the best lines ever.

The whole progression of the relationship is amazing. I love the whole thing and the end! Ah! The end....beautiful.

Oh, that was wonderful! I love it! All of the scenes were great but the hunting was insanely funny and sweet and pitch perfect.

And the duck hasn't been running all up and down the state killing people!" I laughed for five solid minutes at this line! It's GENIUS!

I'd love to see a follow up to this .. Emily's pregnancy and how she and Dave grow and become closer during it ... in the same sort of format. I know some people hate it when their readers suggest sequels, so I hope you aren't offended but I would read any follow up to this in a friggin heartbeat!

This is such a lovely story. So them! Very much in character and perfectly written, great use of the prompt.

Oh my, and I could "kiss" you for the hair-dyeing part. It sometimes looks so absurd on the show, too dark, too unnatural. Grey hair indeed is sexy :-)
