Not really too much to update on.. I don't really have time to update much anymore. My school year has gone okay I guess. Some people have done things to me that I wouldn't have figured they would have done... and then they get upset when I get upset over what they did.. whatever, I'm over them. are you talking about me? becuz i dont think you are stupid for listening to rap and i also feel bad cuz i wrote a rampage article about secular music and i think its really good but now you are probly gonna think im trying to make fun of you! but i wrote it before i even saw this. im sorry if i made you feel stupid. :( -shannon

I'm talking about you to a certain extent.. not only you though. I just get annoyed with how you're always the first to slam rap but the first to defend country. It gets on my nerves. I mean, I don't like country.. and I'll poke fun at it everyone once in awhile.. but I don't make fun of someone for listening to it.. or say that rap is better than country and blah blah.. it just gets old, that's all.

I think that all this he said she said drama that gets put up here just causes more tension between people. Seriously, why post this stuff instead of talking to people you have problems with. Listening to Rap doesn't make you a bad person, it just means you like a good beat. Country, rap, pop and everything else can be put in the same catagory because it's all gotta do w/ peoples feelings, their views, their experiences in this world. Yeah, the majority of rap has to do w/ sex, violence and drugs, but if you really sit down and listen to some of the words, there's more to it than saying you wanna get w/ someone. TUPAC was one of the greatest rappers, and his stuff was DEEP but you wouldn't know that unless you really listened to it. Country...same thing... R&B.. SAME thing. POP SAME THING... I listened to the BSB cd and it talks about the same stuff some of my rap cds talk about, its just a bunch of white people singing.. HELLO SOCIETY. And classifying someone as bad because of who their friends are, that's a bunch of hoo haa to me ( ... )
