this article on the BBC News website at the weekend, about how emailing and texting are replacing pen-and-paper for communication. It notes that 50% of written communication is by email (which actually sounds low to me), 29% by text message, and just 13% by letter (I haven't worked out what the other 8% is!). If I did move, though, I would expect it would be to Witney (further), Eynsham (same), or this side of Oxford (closer). Anything else would make it a hassle to get to work, unless I learn to drive - which is another thing I need to start thinking about, I keep saying "I should get around to it" but I've been saying that for years now.
In the past couple of years, we've had to look for a new housemate five times. It's getting tedious now - plus it's always a bit worrying because we rent the house rather than each renting a room, so if we don't find anyone we're responsible for the rent on the empty room too.

I bet you're a really bad back-seat driver though... I can just imagine you telling people what to do and where to go. Plus you'd probably start rambling on about maps of the underground, or socks, or something else, and they'd have to pull over so they could giggle at you without crashing!
