Author's Notes: You will note I don't use the "movie ratings" system for my fic ratings. I hope that's OK. This is because in the fandom for The West Wing, we were asked not to because some authors had gotten "cease & desist" letters regarding that ratings system's usage. For everyone's convenience I have, however, included the "movie ratings" system equivalent in parentheses after my chosen rating system.
Any kind of criticism is welcome by me, especially if it's constructive. I appreciate the thoughts. But I hope you'll be gentle because this is my first work in the fandom. Pleae leave me a comment, if you dare.
I changed 1 word from the original version of this Drabble: I realized, after the fact, that Steve wears cargo pants to work, not jeans. So I changed that reference for this repost.

I'm REPOSTING this at the urging of friends I've made since I've been on LJ, because it might've been missed by some of you since I made a mess of the original post. This is my first Hawaii Five-0 (2010) work.
It just flowed into my brain as I was waking up recently & I thought I had to get it down on paper before I completely lost it. Then, with a lot of trepidation, I thought I should share it with everyone.
Apologies for this only being a Drabble, but I'm not quite sure I have their "voices" down yet--though I can do the bickering/snark--& I don't feel ready to attempt anything longer at the moment, as such. I have, however, seen some really good plot bunnies that could trip my trigger if I felt completely comfortable in writing Steve/Danny (Danno) right now.
I decided to take it nice & slow at first. This doesn't even use their "voices", per se. It's titled One. I hope you enjoy. Or at least you don't think it totally blows. LOL.
