Attention all! I do not fully GET the whole point of getting down on my knees and blowing people for icons but whatever. I did not realize it was a crime to use an icon AFTER someone offered it up. Funny you should post this. You know how I love pandas?? I have discovered an icon with a dancing cartwheeling panda. I'm going to use it. Plus, I like that icon. It's totally.. hot beautiful erotic etc? :)

See? I don't see what the deal is. Maybe I am just not as sensitive as some others. I could see if I was using someone's writing, saying it was mine or something. But whenever someone asks about one of my icons I always tell them I got them from the adopt_me community. Please. I am not some kind of icon pirate dammit.

The person who 'made' that icon can NOT claim it unless they took the original picture.

hahaha i love that icon.

the only time i ever bitched at someone who stole an icon from me was when it was an icon I MADE from a picture of MY FEET. insane.

heh. I understand creditting some stuff, like people make some really pretty/cool/scary/whatever icons. But resizing an image and saying OK THATS MINE NOW just baffles me.

And feet scare me, so I didn't steal your feet :P

I once found an awesome icon of Mulder from an episode where he lost his mind, and the text on the icon said something like, "Out of His Mind," which really described me at the time, so I took it and kept it and used it. Some priss from the XF community jumped my shit about it, and how it was HIS icon that he and a friend came up with. I pointed out that technically he didn't own it, as DD's mug or his character's mug was not of his creation, and it wouldn't break my back to go and make the same damn icon in photoshop.

I didn't end up doing it, but I should have. It would have been so awesome to school him in that respect.

People are stupid. Enough said.
