My house has had 4 power surges tonight, my pc keeps resetting and the net keeps dying because my modem reboots too. I'm kinda scared that my pc might get fried, but I suppose it's unlikely.

Whos cheap 5 buck power board and shitty electrical gear keeps on tripping the power ?

It's to do with the huge storm I'm fairly sure, windy as hell out there. :(

Is your machine plugged into a Varistor/Surge Arrestor powerboard? It should, at the very least, protect your machine against transient spikes and surges in the powerline.
