Oh wow - that's a v cool project (and a fiddly one by the look of things!)
Congrats that you got some kind of sound out of it anyhow. Next step, full-scale stylophone!

The only real fiddly bits were the speaker wires. Attaching them proved to be VERY tricky, as it uses the speaker from an old set of earbud headphones, and the wires leading to that are WEE.
