Post-surgery update

Well, I am out of surgery (actually, I’ve been out for 2 days, but this is the first time I got down to where the laptop is - and haven’t bothered to ask the lovely wife to get it for me). Thank you, but no need. My parents just came over to make dinner for me, which was nice. And my wife has been very accomodating.

Well, technically, yes, I now have metal bits. Meshes were sutured to the hernias.

After looking into it, looks like it is non-reactive plastic. No airline troubles for me.
