I can't get that song out of my head.
Anyway. Today, I called in sick. If only I weren't really sick, all would be well.
Even though I'm sure many don't care, I'm sharing my Alias thoughts with you.
-Vaughn in track pants! Woohoo! Although I must say, they really should've lingered on the ass shot. But, the arms distracted me enough, so I'll settle.
-Why did the dinner scene have to start out with a shot of Lauren's boobs? That? I could've done without. But of course, Vaughn makes up for it with his hottness. And even if Vaughn goes back to Lauren later in the ep, the fact he's unhappy in the marriage is out. And he wanted to seperate before he knew she was evil. I do believe that helps the Vandal's out quite a bit.
-I liked the Syd/Vaughn mission. It felt like old times, without angsty glances every five seconds, or an undercurrent of tension caused by the trianvil. Just Syd and Vaughn being their ol' resourceful selves. Plus, the balcony jump. Ohhh, Boyfriend. What I wouldn't give for you to put your arms around me like that...
-Didn't have a problem with Vaughn asking Syd for coffee. I mean, seriously, what's the big deal? It's not like he decided to leave his wife then knocked on Syd's door ready for some adultorous sex. They just want to get some coffee like old friends who haven't talked in a long time. Which, really, aren't they?
-I must interrupt the Boyfriend lovin' to say, DAMN, Sark's hot. Was it just me or did he look even better this episode? Maybe it was the hair growin' back...
-I really don't care about Lauren's family. I mean, REALLY don't care. Her mom rushed in and shot her dad and my reaction? "Dude, that's just stupid." (To my sister, who watches and obsesses with me. Not the voices in my head.) Besides, any idiot with a little common sense can figure out just by looking at the senator's head that he was murdered. I mean, seriously. Who did the forensics report? Where's Scully when ya need her?
Plus, I really hope Jack's not buying it. I just can't believe he would. And if it's unbelievable, it must not be true. Right?
-HEE! Vaughn offered to destroy the keys. I see some old Boyfriend shining through. He really would do anything for Syd.
-And even though I KNEW Vaughn would go back to Lauren, it still pissed me off. Not so much at Vaughn, but just at Lauren. 'Cause my hate for her really can't be contained.
I totally appreciate that it was in character for Vaughn. I really do. But I couldn't help it, when he said "No" so shortly to Syd about getting coffee, I did yell "JACKASS!" at the screen. I know, bad Vandal, but I was seriously pissed. I see now I'm more pissed at the contrivance and at yet another delay in the return of the SVR, but, like Syd, I'm hopeful.
*Sigh* I'm such a Vaughn apologist. But I love it.
