Posts about odd dogs would be more like it. :D Though for some of the stuff to make any sense, I'll need to get back into the habit of posting some pictures to the journals. (Horror of horrors)
But I'll try to keep that topic in mind Miss_next, Thanks! :)
Keep doing what you're doing, undoubtedly "the audience" saw something of interest when they chose to add you as a friend.
Not much help, eh? :)
I'm sure that most of my entries nowadays are of very little interest to people (having spent a lot of last night tagging them, I was amazed at quite how many seemed taggable as "work"). That said, they'll be of interest to me in a few years when I look back and am reminded of something small or significant that I'd forgotten. Sometimes it's nice to write for your friends, other times it's nice to write for yourself - if you can do a bit of both I think you're winning.

Actually, it is, in it's own way. One of the things I've been noticing is that, Over on LJ I'm getting a more "regular" response rate. Whereas on my other blogs, that's not the case at all. Which could be an indicator of my correct "audience" has more to do with where I'm journaling, than the WHAT I'm journalling about.

That will certainly have a bearing. I think that LJ is quite conducive to the provision of feedback, whereas some of the other sites I've seen over the years are less that way inclined.
like you, that a lot of them could fit into the "work" or "work related" category. (which gave me pause)
I hear you. I'm always fairly careful to keep my work references reasonably vague .. but I know that work is something which takes a lot of my time, so it's only natural that it'll take a fair chunk of my journal. :)
I've wondered whether it would be a good idea to "backload" into any of my online journals.I don't keep a journal offline, but I suspect if I did, I'd probably be a lot more "open" in it - and for that very reason I probably wouldn't want to transfer it to the online medium.. I think you'd have to be fairly careful who could you'd want reading it. However, I suspect for that very

Indeed.

Unfortunately, I've discovered no matter how vague I keep work stuff in my journal, I wind up hearing about it back... :( But yeah, *it is only natural* to journal about something that you spend most of your time on. Unless you also count dreams! :P

Your right about that, though for some portions, it could apply to anybody... :)
The weird story compilations sound fun, definitely explore that idea :)
Now that surprises me a little. I'd have thought no one else would've been that interested. So I guess I will have to explore it some more.
Erm, you win appreciation! Sadly, the exchange

Something that has been bothering me for a while. I want to do at least one entry a week but in the end that just cannot be sometimes for I feel there is noting worth while logging. Then is the times I ened up writnig something from the local newspaper, summerising it and throwing in some ideas and opinions.
That's actually a pretty smart idea - by throwing in your own ideas and opinions your opening up the journal to the possibility of some thoughful discussion. Which is always a good thing.
Then there are the times in the past when I posted up some creative writing or maybe a picture I did that was worth showing off.
Yes, I've got to get around to throwing up some more pix. Plus I *could* dig up some of the stuff I wrote for the book I never got around to publishing... Though, that could also spur me into a huge revision kick again. :)
But in the end these are for what we want to write and any audience is on for the ride. Either they accept/like/etc whatever they are reading or not.
You could talk about your gaming activites? RP and such? You won't have to worry about your personal or work activites with this subject- just have fun

That's true for most of it. Unfortunately, there's a couple of sticky bits I have to be careful about in the current RPing that still need to be kept secret, because of the type of character and game that I'm participating. (Think Fox mulder and dealing with his "unofficial channels".) But yeah, I could talk about some the more unrelated stuff I guess, though I'd still be concerned about boring readers completely out of their gords with it, of course. So maybe only small doses? I'll have to see.
