So after the recomendation from the family counselor was given and we both signed consenting to that agreement we were ushered into another hearing room where we were supposed to handle the issue of support.

Now when I received the hearing information in the mail there was a list of documents we both needed to present attached and I spent several ( Read more... )

i don't think you're wrong and don't think you're 'just angry'. i think you're 100% justified and should rake him across the coals. and i hope they burn his ass.

Ive been to those types of hearings...
I know your frustrations.....If you werent madd something would be wrong......

Be strong and Hang in there, and keep believing and praying to God for guidance. no, you're not wrong for wanting him to step up as a man. I can admir ethat the first thing you said was that you wanted him to be around consistently. A true golddigger would've said nothing But $$$. As a Real Man, I'm sad to see a man take their kids for granted. I don't have any as of yet but I can't wait to experience parenthood. Every man with kids should take advantage of the chance to mold and shape Fine men to represent the future of what men should be, not neglect them and increase their chances of facing life without a good fathers love and advice. I was lucky enough to survive a life without a Good male influence, and I'm sure you'll do the same just as my Grandmother did to maek sure Cameron does as well. So yea, I agree...if he fails to step up as a dad...take him to the cleaners. He needs to made as responsible as possible. Keep ya head up!!!!

Take notes on when he does and does not take advantage of his parenting time. Have it documented so that next time, if he lies, you can say, I noted every date he did and did not take the child. (Even better if you make him sign Cameron out, then it's not just your word against his ( ... )
