I'm probably the person reading this with the least LJ experience, so maybe I shouldn't be talking at all, but my observation has been that most authors have a tag for their criminal minds fic. That usually makes it pretty easy to find, it not a specific fic, at least a good enough selection to give unfamiliar readers an idea. Authors who don't have such a tag could be asked, as part of accepting their nomination, to create one and add it to the appropriate post

Thanks - I think I will be going with your list idea for authors who currently have no useful method for finding their fics. I had a momentary bit of panic about this whole thing, but I'm better now :)

I agree with shinealightonme ... most authors have a list of their works, either tagged on their journal, listed on their journal, or in their memories. Maybe after the nominations end, you might send a message to all of the authors nominated for Best New Author and Best Overall Author to either provide the link to their listed fics on LJ or create a list using their memories feature. I'm sure that the authors wouldn't mind putting one together!

True - most authors have tags for their fics. I only panicked because I received a nom for an author who seems to post their CM fics entirely on various communities and had no useful 'memories' group for finding them. I believe I've figured out a solution for that particular author, but I worried about other authors who might be nominated. Asking them to create a links list or something would probably be the easiest way of doing things. Thank you!

So meant to reply to this sooner, but it looks like Alby and Shinealightonme both had great suggestions anyway.

And HAI, yes, I am the pest. But I'm so glad it was added. I have smut I wanted to nominate that just didn't fit anywhere else! :D
