So we spent the weekend in Missouri for Rebecca's graduation (she received her Masters...congrats Bec, we're proud of you!)  Anyway, it was warm and just plain beautiful down there.  The graduation ceremony was fairly short; only 2 hours and I had, by far, the best beer I have ever tasted (and for all my fans out there, you know how I feel about ( Read more... )

Hey all:

I officially signed an employment contract on Friday.  Yay!  I also got to make some nice stunt swords for my 7th graders to use in their version of MacBeth this Thursday.  Oveall...a good weekend.  I have nothing else to say...sad huh? 

Viva Las Vegas!  I just took a job in North Las Vegas teaching middle school.  We'll be moving in July.  I'll keep you all posted.

Well we got something good from this bowl season.   Our own Butch T. Cougar is the Capital One mascot of the year!  Hooray for Butch.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the Cougar Men basketball team as they seem to be playing some good ball.  Hope you all are celebrating Butch's victory in Cougarland.
