here is a post and some pictures that pretty much everyone will not want to look at so feel free to skip it. i went to look for japanese people...
and it didnt work out too well.
it was a nice bright and sunny day so i thought i would go out and do something. it felt good, around 16 C.... much nicer than like -10C i had been up against the previous 7 days.
i wasnt aware that the wind was around 160kph though. i had to battle it all day long
i decided to go look for japanese people today at the university of alabama because they are dressed in interesting ways most of the time and theyre all like... fdlkhg fg lksgfoiysregvkfljh ke ke ke ke ke ke ke ke ke ke ::exploding trees and sunshines with smiley faces:: ke ke ke ke ke ke....and i was going to write an article about them. anyways, i drove through downtown tuscaloosa to get there. what an amazing city, look at that skyline...
well, i got there and parked at reese-phifer hall where i spent the majority of my school career not learning about media/advertising/journalism...
i decided to walk to the foreign classes building because that is where i used to always waste time in the computer lab and it was usualy packed with what i was looking for. on the way there, i got to see the building where i did all my art stuff. bad times. i hated those classes so much and they were soooo fuuuucking loooong. like 4 hours... and i had this one teacher who was seriously 90 years old and straight out of a godfather movie. every other word he said was fuck and he was always complaining and giving people terrible grades and making them leave class and telling them their art is shit and hitting on the girls and making fun of people for drinking water in bottles. it was really funny sometimes but also scary because you never knew when he would turn on you. luckily i am low key so he never did anything or said anythign to me and he liked my art but wow was class with him so bad. i actually never even finished it come to think about it. it seemed like i was in his class for a lifetime but i never even actually got through it, that was the last semester i was in school and quit halfway through to move to minne soter.
so, i made it in but NO ONE was there. emptiness...
the computer lab had new sleek flat monitors plus new mice and as i wandered around i came upon the old ones. i asked the people in the office if i could have one and they said no so i took a mouse because they didnt say i couldnt have one of those...
i was thirsty so i looked in the teacher lounge fridge for somethign to drink but there was only frozen water in the freezer. those zanny foreign teachers!
i walked around some more, still looking... still looking but nothing. no one. here are just random pics of the school. it was strange walking around. i havent been there in, i guess 3 years...
i went to the ferguson center where all the food and junk is as a last ditch effort and nothing... wait... something... i found one! this japanese person was rather bland looking and i dont guess you can actually tell they are from this picture but believe me... mission accomplished! (however rather unspectacular)
when i got back, anyone who went to or goes to this school can guess what was on my car...
yo uwill get a ticket for sneezing wrong here i think. but if you just throw them away... they will go away. let the wind carry away your troubles.
OMFG
after all that i had to take a detour to make way for an ambulance so i decided to stop at the park while i was there...
it was still super windy and there were lots of people flying kites but i was more interested in little kids playing soccer...
ive been thinking about coaching soccer liek this for a while but never do. maybe soon though. maybe maybe. not here though i hope.
i scooted on over to the playground for a bit and swung on the sets for a while and challenged a kid to a race in which he ran like 200 feet before he realized i never started and was just laughing at him.
and i know its lame but i drew your name in the sand.
after all of that i came back home. still need to go shopping for some stuff but i cant decide if ill do that tonight or tomorrow. hmmm
