I should not complain because it's hot so many places, but I have not needed a popsicle once this summer.

Its occurring to me that that metaphor is like the complete antithesis of what I meant...I WANT TO WRITE ALL OF THEM. IMMEDIATELY. AT THE SAME TIME. It just seems like kind of a bad idea in practice.
