I started falling asleep today in Environmental Issues (9am) and in Mass Communication Theory (10 am). I only fell asleep for a few seconds, but it happened several times. So, once upon a time, I had a Native American history class directly after lunch in the warmest, and dimmest room on campus. The seats were very far from the professor (it was a auditorium), and she never had any visual aids. She also didn't write anything down. She just talked in one monotonous, unending stream. Naturally, sleep was inevitable. I mean, c'mon, it was just ridiculous. But as you mentioned, I discovered I could take notes while asleep (basically). Unfortunately, my imagination would begin to take free rein. You can imagine my difficulty for studying for the tests when my notes included such lines as (and I quote) "Indians sold to Japanese for money."
