Are you sure its the router? kaosarcana February 10 2009, 12:33:15 UTC
When my Desktop died, I got a new PC with (ugh!) Vista on it.

It seems like Norton on Vista just doesn't do very well. It gives me fits when I try to browse the Web on an annoyingly frequent basis.

I've also had COH lock up on my PC a couple of times with no apparent reason I could discover. Sounds kind of similar to what you're describing.

Oh, wiat. You said you had trouble on non-PCs as well.

Never mind. ;-)

In a word, no. I'm not sure it's the router. However, I have all XP PCs thus far, plus the 360 and PS3. I haven't tried the DS or PSP yet, not that it matters.

I'm pretty sure it's either the router or the cable modem, unless one of the devices is just jamming the network.

Rebooting the router seems to have worked, I didn't reboot the cable modem or laptop.

We're having the same trouble here. It's happening on laptops, Vista, XP... really hard to figure it all out. The router is new, too.

Well, Vista is known to not play well with others.
