just the news, and a few opinions.

yesterday i bought an mp3 player from a guy at work, he got a new one with more space, i purchased the old one from him.

it's nothing fancy. i like it. and now i can listen to decent music while i work...

so when i plugged this guy into my computer i found that i had previously loaded a few handfuls of my cds onto my computer (probably about a year ago, judging by the choice of albums available)

i found, among other things:

a dashboard confessional album that i gave away, it is pretty good, but also pretty depressing.

a few nor elle songs from "phantom of life"

OPINION TIME:

norman feller is incredible.

the first track off of "phantom of life amaizes me. it is so brilliant. it is not complicated, it is not too simple, it is just right. it doesn't make you want to dance, it doesn't make you want to smile, or frown, it doesn't make you want to cry, it just makes you want to take a closer look at all the beautiful things in the world. (perhaps i am reading too much into the song?)

all aside, norman feller is a brilliant.

also i found a handful of really top notch alphawezen tunes, for those of you unfamiliar with alphawezen, seriously, check them out. they make some pretty worthwhile music and excelent videos to acompany them.

back to news:

i feel wierd when the day shift guys come into work smelling like fancy soaps and i am not exactly feeling (or smelling, for that matter) "fresh" (especially when i forgot to put on deodorant before work).

in other news, my pal, joshua just gave me a few knifes as a gift, i recently had the pleasure of playing guitar for his wedding, it was very exciting and all, i even dressed up!!!

also, i recieved a post card last week from my old house mates ben and patricia, they went to the celestial seasonings factory...

that is all the news.

i leave you with a really lame drawing i made especially for this entry:

(it is a guy wearing mittens.)

(the great thing about LJ is that it basically encourages narsistic tendancies, and everyone thinks that it is great...)
