Promotion On The Horizon?

So my boss and I have been discussing my future with the company for awhile and we seem to have settled on my becoming a Renewal Underwriter (especially since ours could retire at any time as he has all his years in).   But first I have to take there Intro to Insurance classses.  Basically, you get a book and study guide in the mail and read it

The Chicago plan sounds like a good idea since he'd be with people all the time instead of only having people drop in a couple times a day. Regardless of how you work that part out though, how exciting that your boss wants to promote you!! That's awesome.

Maybe not. I just talked to my mother last night and she was less than thilled with the idea. She kept making excuses like "where would he sleep?" and "it will be winter and his paws will be muddy when he comes inside".

If we can bring our own kids with us, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to stay at your place.

I may just take you up on that! We have some time to figure things out. First I have to stop procrastinating and finish the insurance intro classes.....
