Are you still enjoying The Mortal Instruments? There's a fourth book coming out next year (City of Fallen Angels). I think the first book of her new series is coming out this month. It may have already been released by now. My book reading addiction is suffering due to a slight case of unemployment. Looks like I'll be rereading some stuff for a while.
Yes I'm pretty hooked now. I'm 2/3 of the way through #3. And it has a sneak peek at #4. I'm not sure yet whether I'll get into the new series or not.
And all I have to say is that there is this place that is pretty awesome, and you don't have to pay for books (unless you keep them to long) - it's called a library.
I've done a lot of buying then selling things back for credit at a used book store here. Turns into something of a vicious circle ;-)

Yeeeah... After I posted that last night I was like, "Idiot, go to the library." I'm so used to just buying books that my mind did not automatically think about the library. I'm used to using the library for school (papers and whatnot) and teaching (checking out books for my students). I haven't used a library for my own recreational reading in a looooong time. So that explains my brief foray into duh.
Also, I usually don't worry about the libraries here because the library system is for shit. Last night I was looking for the next two J.D. Robb books that I need to read. One of them is at the library up the street, but the next book in the series isn't in ANY of the libraries here. So I guess I'll be browsing the shelves for something else when I go there tomorrow.
