grrrr...crazy people...first of all...its ironic that VHS which tapes off tv (we have tons and tons of movies taped of tv) can be copied no prob.

I think that someone should find out the names of all the people who are trying to introduce that internet thing. Then I think if it does get implemented, some hacker should get into their server and make it such that like once a month the players for just those people who are promoting this "feature" are rendered useless by the server. Lets see how many months of that happeneing before they regret ever even contemplating that kind of restrictive technology.

Why isn't the digital watermarks and the multiple encryption schemes enough? Do they really need a third type of copy protection?

yes they do! because of all the money their losening, their suffereing so muchhhhhhh....bleh sickening...
