Had a "screening interview" with Greece CSD last Monday. Thought it went well, but their HS opening was "anticipated", as opposed to a MS opening they were filling. I haven't received a call back yet ( Read more... )

Hey Craig, it's Kate, the turncoat PhiGirl who moved down South. :-) I hope you had a *great* time in Denver - congrats on your last meeting! (Although I know that Region 2 is going to miss you immensely, if they know what's good for them!). Good luck with the job search, although I can't imagine you'd have too much trouble - I keep hearing about a teacher shortage in the US of A?! Anywho, I'm going to try to make it out to Denver in December ... it depends on a couple things. Well, a few hundred things actually (airfare, hotel, food, my mother's guilt trips about abandoning the family during the holiday season when I'm only home a couple weeks out of the year, you know, the usual stuff *smile*). I'll let you know if I'm going to be in upstate NY at all this fall - I'm sure you could spare a minute or two for a coffee :-) *hugs*

Good to hear from you. Nice to see you on LJ, as well. There's a bunch of us here from Section 89 and Region II, if you weren't already aware of that. Hope the "Dirty South" is treating you well, and I hope to see you at Nationals. And, if you get up this way at some point, lemme know. I'd love to see you. There's a Starbucks right down the road from where my gf lives.
