Dear Internet,

As I was surfing the WHOIS seas this morning, I noticed that our beloved cmubash.org had finally returned to its unregistered state.

As a result, it now works again. I present to you: the CMU QDB. (Much thanks to x77303066 for continuing to host this.)

[On a side note, if you can think of something good for this site let me know.]

i will tickle him mercilessly the next time i see him. srsly it should at least say "caution: not all kitties are safe for work!"

also, R.I.P. my productivity for the rest of the afternoon.

...as i read the top 150 and attempt to avoid LOLing so much that my coworkers figure out i'm not working. :D

We welcome our Google Overlords!

You'd better, if you know what's good for you! ;-D

Also, does this mean Tom has a static IP again? Lack of one was the only reason cmu-bash.org wasn't working -- I pointed it at his IP, which then changed. I was meaning to repoint it when people said his IP had been the same for awhile, but didn't get around to it.

Also I'm surprised cmubash.org is free -- I checked it just after it the squatters' claim expired and it looked like they had renewed for a year. Maybe they dropped the renewal or something.

I don't think it's static, but it's been the same for a while. I plan on actually tracking it and changing it when it changes... or we could set up dynamic DNS or something.

Also, I noticed that cmubash.org seemed to be expiring soon; I just today happened to notice by chance that it'd actually completely expired.

Is the LJ feed going to dump 500 posts on us tomorrow?

Does it even still work?

given that the feed is still pointing at cmu-bash.org, no.
