My choices for next year's classes are due Friday. This is what I'm thinking:

Life Through Christian Living CP (required)
English Seminar Honors
Sociology Honors
Introduction to Law CP
AP Statistics
French 4 Honors

I dunno how I feel about it... I wish I could squeeze AP Psychology in there, but we only take 6 classes. =\
I feel like Intro to Law CP won't ( Read more... )

Seven classes? baddogsprocket January 26 2007, 01:16:06 UTC
I took three AP classes my senior year (French, Calc, and US History) and it made me a zombie. The History class was the killer, because Mr. Gramling wanted a short paper every week and a long one every month, in addition to the daily reading and writing assignments. I ended up with a C+ in that class, the only C of any kind that I ever got at that school.

I got really lucky on the AP History exam, though, because one of the essay questions was about the South's finances during the Civil War, and that happened to be the topic of one of the long papers Mr. Gramling assigned me. So, my worst grade led to my best AP Score (a five).

There's a reason why they limit you to six classes. No use starting your freshman year in College already burned out, as I did.

For real? All my teachers are telling me it's a great class and not too hard, and then my parents laughed at me when I told them I wanted to take it and were like "Pfft!! Do you know what you're you getting yourself into!?" So I really don't know what to expect. haha
