Surgery

I feel like I've been blogging and/or emailing about this for ages now, but yesterday I had my tubes tied. Oh yes. It is done & it went well. I have no more worries about getting sick from the side effects of the Pill or about getting pregnant when I realized many years ago that I didn't want to grow up one day to be a parent. I feel free. I am actually, and have been for many years. I'll probably hold off for another few but it was comforting to read that yours went so well. :)

Mannnn...I wish I could be put to sleep for mine!!! But, they're doing the tubal ligation during the C-section, and for those they make you stay completely awake with just a block going through your epidural space.

Sooo....I am worrying myself to death about this epidural this time. It's supposed to be a breath of fresh air to think "no pain...just a little shot and pain all gone!"

Not for me! Last time the dude put the needle in the wrong way and hit some nerve going down my back shocking (contracting) me off the table! It was awful until he finally got it in the right spot. So now I am terrified of that needle (plus I did what I never should have and LOOKED at it!!)

Anywhoo...I am so happy for your success!!! Maybe this time I'll get an anesthesiologist who can get it right the first time without hurting me.

HELL YES to that morphine! I get a drip for 2 days ;-)
