*Ding* You've reached level 25, you are now awesome enough to continue on with the story. Seriously, I had to trudge through 7 levels worth of grinding before Snakeman would let me continue on to the DB Licensing test. A tip to any of my guildmates who haven't gotten there yet: go immediately. The second you hit 25. Let me explain.
You may have noticed recently that they finally implemented the whole death xp penalty. For a long time, they said they docked xp off for dying, but if you paid attention to the numbers you could see that they weren't actually dropping. Not the case, now, and since I am pretty sure you have to take the test without a party (I've done everything solo, thusfar) you will die. Especially from the Jack Brothers. Also, have something on your roster that uses pure magic. Dis was invaluable against the boss. Frankly, Dis solo'd the boss for me.
You know it is bad when you've gotten far enough in the story line that the text reverts to Japanese. At this point, I get to extrapolate on what I think the story is based on what I read earlier and what I see now. Let me tell you, there are a lot of ominous looks--but then, that's probably always been the case. Anyway, we should all party up and tackle a dungeon sometime. Even badass loners need a team. ;)
