Those who bitch about the possible tax burden fail to realise a lot of things. Like the savings from their own pockets, and the pockets of their employer. They tend to put a dollar amount on human life. These are the same people who believe that the poor are somehow evil for being poor.
Thousands of people here die every year from preventable diseases. Because they can't afford to do anything about it. For a government and a people to allow that is akin to outright murder.
