A snake and some palm grubs (amusingly, called suri locally, which just makes me think of the Cruise spawn) and then a cute puppy.
The snake I caught the other day. Not very big, but very cross - when I rescued him, the chickens were about to eat him - and so very pretty.
The larvae of the South American Palm Weevil. They're huge and pulsating and I totally ate one. They taste of peanuts.
