Looks as if PBSJ is going to be acquired by the UK firm Atkins. Not sure what this all means for us low totem pole employees as of yet. We get more details on Wednesday with a Q&A with upper mgmt

If you need lots of coffee, International Delights came out with a dark chocolate cream creamer. It's yummy!

I check my bank account every day twice a day just incase something like that happens. Since asshat (the ex) let all those crack whores in the house while my personal stuff was still there, I never know when one of them might try to use it. One of them did, got a UPS mail center mailbox in my name! I had to straighten that out.

More than likely you're job will be safe. They usually just change the higher ups and some middle management. And besides, they should already have been told about the awesomeness that is you, they would be crazy to let you go! :)

new budget software implementation here too with mystery training 1 week before go live. It dies though, so back to the old way, which is manual and painful. Fortunately I have staff to handle this now, unlike last year when I did it by myself with a concussion.
