PEOPLE - GET A PROPER LEASH! BURN YOUR FLEXI TODAY!Seriously, what is this?! I just took a "relaxing" walk with Silli and I'm now boiling with rage

Oh, here's a fun fact for you! My total count for dogs I've seen in a leash so far for the entire time I've been in the country: 2.
Actually, for the longest time I was under the impression that leashes must be ILLEGAL here and not the other way around, because I keep seeing dozens of dogs daily and not a single one. ever. in. a. leash.
I think this trend is basically non-existant in Finlands by now..
I love that you said this. I hate those! When I have Stella, she wears a harness the goes over her chest. She still pulls but not so bad and it's not restricting her walk or enjoyments so I feel good about it.
... but when we're out in the country, she doesn't wear her leash. She'll run ahead a bit but comes right back when called. I just worry about her seeing a squirrel and darting in the roads in the cities. Ahh, my ladybug. I miss her. My friend has her. She was just fostering her until I get a bigger place but I think she's happy there. <3 More pics of your dogs, please!
Flexi's are not bad: some owners are just not very good. as for the owner of the Westie picking up her dog, again don;t take it personally. not only are terriers little doggie Napoleons, but these days you never can tell if the OTHER dog owner has real control of their dog.
Hey, I have two terriers! And not only they are napoleons by nature too, they also weight 20 kilos each. -And that's pure muscle. Still, I have no problem whatsoever controlling them.
And even if you have the tiniest of all terriers, passing other dogs it's just an everyday thing every dog should know - regardless of their size. If you need to pick up your dog when confronting another dog, something has gone awfully one with your dog's training.
And if you have a toy-sized dog, great - pick him up. But what if you had a rottweiler. Would you pick him up too?
these days you never can tell if the OTHER dog owner has real control of their dog. That's exactly why I am whining about this! This is exactly the reason why a dog shouldn't run 8 meter ahead its owner! YET THEY STILL DO. WHY?
