The janitor at work called me a baby and a child today.  For no reason at all.  She said 21 year olds are not adults until they are living on their own and have kids.  I swear it's like some people think they can butt in to my life and think they can give me sage advice like they are my parents or something.  She thinks I need to start paying for

I would love to talk to that lady..I could tell her a thing or two. Being considered an adult depends on your emotional and mental maturity level. There are plenty females out in the world living on their own with children that are so immature, running around, partying, drinking and/or on drugs, leaving their children with just anybody. They are definately NOT adults. Like you said, she has no right butting into your personal life. If she kept on, I would think about reporting her for harrassment.
