It's great that you touch on the origins of your Arbiters characters. I talked a bit about fan fiction in my presentation to the Main Line Writers Group last week. I have every piece of my old fan fiction, although all of mine are only short stories, and I do go back and read them once in awhile. To me, fan fic was my training ground, a springboard if you will, before moving onto original fiction. That is not meant to diminish the value or enjoyment of writing fan fic. I loved every minute of it and it made me realize, too, that a writer is exactly what I wanted to be when I grow up. Of course, I'm deeply grateful to you for helping me get there. I wouldn't have it any other way, amigo!
