He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck, either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

Ain't that the truth, though? I was seriously divided between rolling on the floor with hilarity, and simultaniously smashing my head against a brick wall and slitting my wrists for good measure over this example of pure stupidity. My world never ceases to amaze me...
